There are a few different ways to make an appointment. The fastest way is to click on “Book a Free 15-minute Consult” at the bottom of the page. If you are unable to find a time that works for you, you can email me at lisa@acornsandoaktrees.com or call me at (360)-504-8773

The fifteen minute consultation is a time for you to share with me what is bringing you or your child to counseling. It gives us a chance to make sure we are a good fit before scheduling our first full appointment. If you are a parent or caregiver interested in counseling for your child, you can decide whether or not to bring them to the consultation.

Yes, I am in-network with Premera, Lifewise, and UnitedHealthCare. If you are unsure whether or not I am in-network with your insurance plan, you can email me at lisa@acornsandoaktrees and I can verify my status.
If your insurance plan offers out-of-network reimbursement, you may be able to get partially or fully reimbursed for sessions with me. I provide monthly superbills (detailed invoices) with all the required information for insurance claims.
These questions may be helpful when calling your insurance provider about out-of-network services :
Does my plan cover mental health services?
If so, will my plan cover or reimburse me directly for mental health services from "out-of-network" / "third party" providers?
If so, how much of what I pay will be reimbursed?
Do I need to have a primary care physician referral for those services to be reimbursed?
Does my plan have a cap on the number of sessions I can be reimbursed for each year?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
*It will be important to mention that I am a Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate to determine your “out-of-network” benefits.

My office is in Fairhaven, at 909 Harris Ave, Suite 201D. The entrance is between the Toy Garden and a store called Cozy. Unfortunately, there is no free parking right by my office. However, “the pit” is a gravel parking lot across from Avenue Bread in Fairhaven that is free. Or, if you drive west on Harris towards the water, there is also free parking on 6th Street.
