  • Therapy for Kids

Being a kid can be hard. In fact, being a human at any age can be hard. With children, my therapeutic process relies on play therapy, sand tray therapy, and art therapy. These modalities enable children to communicate, in a safe environment, what they may be unable to express verbally. Just like with adults, therapy with children is a process. As I work with a child I provide them with a time in which they can just be, and I join them in their being. Incredibly, when a child is able to be, and be witnessed and supported therapeutically in their being, change becomes possible.

As the child and I get to know each other and trust is built, we may explore tangible skills to support the goals we are working towards. These skills are evidence based and draw from interpersonal neurobiology, and cognitive behavioral therapy, to name a couple. An important piece of my approach to working with kids is working with the parents as well. Parents and caregivers, you are the expert in your child. I am here to support you as we navigate what is bringing your child to therapy.

  • Therapy for Teens

Am I a kid? Am I an adult? You and your teen may be wondering this at times. And you may disagree sometimes! Adolescence is an incredible developmental time that can be challenging to navigate. I approach therapy with adolescents with a lot of curiosity. I utilize many theoretical approaches, including play, sand tray, cognitive behavioral therapy, and interpersonal neurobiology, to support a teen’s exploration of themselves and what may be bringing them to therapy.

  • Therapy for Adults

I provide individual therapy to adults of all ages, supporting clients through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. These often include anxiety, depression, difficulties with self-identity, relationship concerns, and navigating major life transitions such as career changes, loss, or shifts in personal roles.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, meaning I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to tailor the work to each client’s unique needs. At the core of my practice is a psychodynamic foundation—commonly known as "talk therapy"—which emphasizes gaining insight into how past experiences, unconscious patterns, and early relationships shape present thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Through this process, I aim to foster greater self-awareness, emotional growth, and long-term change.

Caregivers

You will be seen, supported, and validated in our work together.

Being a parent or caregiver can be beautiful and challenging. If you are exploring this website, you may be feeling more challenged at this moment. My work with you will involve supporting you as we work together to support your child. You may feel vulnerable, scared of judgment, and worried about how I may react or perceive your concerns. This is so normal. I want to assure you that as a mother myself, I have felt exhausted, at my wits' end, and concerned about my child, too. Let's work together to support your family in surviving and thriving.
